KCC Treasure Hunt Championship 2010 September 10th Round 4 Organisers Terry & Robert Mills (20 points) Leaving Milnrow Cricket Club on a showery evening, 7 crews (Kevin & Bernadette, where were you?) headed for Huddersfield road out of Newhey (home ground for Tim Cruttenden) before climbing over towards Delph and then onwards over the moors to the whites around Scammonden. Terry and Robert revisited the traditional format for Treasure Hunts by asking crews to collect random items on their travels. Amusement ensued at the finish with paper hats, thistles and toothpicks on display. Margaret and Nigel Wedgewood and son emerged victorious, due no doubt to their perseverence in returning to collect misssed clues when others gave in to the poor weather and intense darkness. The final event of the season will be a triple header - two Treasure Hunts, Pub Lunch and an afternoon Scatter Rally - with all to play for in the Championship. Results
